Maybe it's not my weekend, but it's gonna be my year... Probably not really, but I love that song. Anyway. I thought I could resist jumping on the bandwagon and doing these, but it turns out I was wrong. Ah well. So yes. The 2013 memes everyone is doing. Enjoy.
Day 1: What has been your most memorable moment in 2012?
The whole week I was at camp with my youth group. That was the most life-changing time of my life. <3
Day 2: How much have you changed overall in 2012?
Shall I make a list? Just kidding. That'd take too long. Quite a lot. Eesh.
Day 3: A person who has impacted your life in some way this year.
Uhm. All of my friends, really. For the sake of this question, I'll say the a certain friend of mine. It's been an interesting year between the two of us. And she's amazing. She's helped me through a ton, and I'll always love her to death.
Day 4: Something you’ve learned this year.
Hmm... I've learned how to find the factors in a linear quadratic equation. Oh, also to forgive myself when I mess up. (Although I still need work on that one sometimes...)
Day 5: Describe an adventure you had this year.
My friend and I went to this hotel by the beach for a weekend. It was... emotional, to say the least. And an adventure. (:
Day 6: Any words of wisdom/advice for anyone?
Trust God. That's basically all you need in life. I learned that this year too.
Day 7: 10 things you want to say 10 people.
Oh I remember this from last year... this is hard. Alright. As always, random order.
- Dear God: Thank You, for all You've done for me. Thanks for putting me where I am and getting me out of where I'm not anymore. Thanks for the amazing friends I've been blessed with. Help me to live for You this year. <3
- Dear Sky: You are one of the most amazing people I've ever met. You were the first friend I ever had, and I'll always be thankful for everything you've been in my life. You're such an awesome person, and I'm so glad we're friends. (Also, thank you for convincing me to read Perks and listen to almost all of my favorite bands. Don't know what I'd do without either now. ^^) Love ya.
- Dear Faith: You're incredible. Seriously, I can only hope to be like you someday. You are a light in this world, and one of the most purely good people I've ever known. I love our conversations, and I know we'll be friends for quite a while longer. (Also, thank you for introducing me to Doctor Who even though it ruined my life dsjkfhaldf.) Love ya.
- Dear T___: You are amazing. Thank you for being there to pour into my life and help me, and I'm excited for next year. You are an incredible role model, and I want to be like you when I grow up.
- Dear C___: You're fantastic. I can't tell you how much I appreciate you and how you're always there. We've just started to become close this year, and I'm so glad. You're amazing, and I love you.
- Dear Baka: Um.. This might be an interesting one. I'll start with I love you, because it's important. I'm sorry if I screwed things up. I think I did, but I hope it's not permanant. We can fix this friendship, yes? Because you're my best friend, and I really don't want to lose this. Thank you, because of everything you've done for me this year. You pulled me out of a dark place, and I think I did the same for you. I'm glad you're getting better. I hope we can move past this. I really hope to see you when you're back in the USA. We need to have a real conversation. I love you, S____. Don't forget that. I was trying to help..
- Dear Brendon, Spencer, Ryan, Jon, Ian, Dallon, Gerard, Mikey, Ray, Frank, Bob, Rian, Alex, Jack, Zack, Hayley, Jeremy, Taylor, Josh, Zac, Patrick, Andy, Joe, Pete, Matt, Matt, John, Jon, Ethan, John, Korey, Jen, and Seth (of Panic! at the Disco, My Chemical Romance, All Time Low, Paramore, Fall Out Boy, Relient K, and Skillet): Thanks for your music. Thank you for the soundtrack to my life, for hope when there doesn't seem to be much, for an escape when I've locked myself in my room, for another reality in which to hide, for security and comfort when I don't feel safe, for reminding me that I'll be okay, and for proving to me that I'm not alone.
- Dear Charlie: You don't exist, but that doesn't change much. Because your story cannot be put into words. Because every teenager understands. Every kid has known how you feel. And more importantly, you know how we feel. Even though you don't exist, it makes me feel much less alone. Because now I know that others get it. And your words evoke this bittersweet feeling of nostalgia, and I miss how things used to be. But like you said, life doesn't stop for anybody. And I'm starting to be okay with that. And thank you for letting me know that even though others have worse issues than I do, I can still admit that I need help, and thank you for encouraging me to find that help. I'm doing much better now. Thank you.
- Dear soccer team: You guys are the best. I've only known some of you for a few months, and there's already not one of you I wouldn't die for. I trust you, and I appreciate each one of you. You all rock.
- Dear myself: It's been an interesting year, huh? How I've changed. I think it's for the better. I guess I'll just keep doing my best.
Day 8: Things you hope for in 2013.
I hope I'll become a better person, and be able to serve others and help those who need it. I really wanna make a difference in the area of self-harm/eating disorders/suicide/depression/mental disorders/etc. Also, I want to go to lots and lots of concerts, and ride rollercoasters. And I want to learn to have friends, and be
Day 9: What are you looking forward to in 2013?
Sea of Monsters movie! And the City of Bones movie! And books and new albums and hopefully amusement parks. And the rest of Doctor Who season 7, and Sherlock season 3. I have no life.
Day 10: Anything you wish to say to end 2012/start 2013.
Um... we survived another apocolypse? That's kinda neat. Also, I love you all, and reminder that I'm always here if any of you guys need to talk. Love you all. <3

)

-August 14: Started at a new school. (It's still terrifying... haha)

8: What was your biggest achievement of the year?
Hmm... I joined this program in my youth group that I've been afraid of, since everyone says it's terrifying and stressful and a lot of work, but I did it, and I'm glad.
9: What was your biggest failure?
I've been a crappy friend. Over and over...
10: Did you suffer illness or injury?
Both. Repeatedly. Thanks, soccer and crappy immune system.. -.-
11: What was the best thing you bought?
Uhm... I honestly don't know. I don't buy things much. I guess, I found some great Christmas presents for people.
12: Whose behaviour merited celebration?
A bunch of my friends.... to pick one person, I'd say this kid I don't really know all that well anymore (we were close in middle school) but he's amazing and doing great things. (:
13: Whose behaviour made you appalled?
Hmm... to pick one person, a girl on my soccer team. Definitely needed God to help me with patience at the beginning of the season... XD (I love her now, though, even if she is a bit... eccentric...)
14: Where did most of your money go?
In a little drawer in my room.
15: What did you get really, really, really excited about?
Summer Camp. <3

17: Compared to this time last year, are you: (a) happier or sadder? (b) thinner or
fatter? (c) richer or poorer?
a. Hmm... Different. I'm... idk. Sadder, but not sad, I'd say.
b. Fatter. I'm a chubby little dude.
lol
c. Richer, I suppose.
18: What do you wish you'd done more of?
Talking to people/having a life.
19: What do you wish you'd done less of?
Procrastinating/wasting time on the internet.
20: How did you spend Christmas?
With my family.
21: Did you fall in love in 2012?
Nope. Well, I learned to love a lot of people. But none romantically. (I don't think I can do that... Ah well. Asexuality for the win. Haha.)
22: What was your favourite TV program?
Doctor Who and Supernatural.
23: Do you hate anyone now that you didn't hate this time last year?
Nah. Although a relationship is strained that wasn't last year. But not quite hate.

The Perks of Being a Wallflower - Steven Chbosky
or Safely Home - Randy Alcorn
or The Mark of Athena - Rick Riordan

26: What did you want and get?
Uh... a TWLOHA shirt.

The Perks of Being a Wallflower. <3

My friends.
30: How would you describe your personal fashion concept in 2012?
Minimal to nonexistent. Haha, seriously, I wear t-shirts and jeans and sneakers.
31: What kept you sane?
Writing, music, soccer, and scribbling lyrics and lines on paper. And the Butterfly Project, if that goes in this category.
32: Which celebrity/public figure did you fancy the most?
Uh... The various members of All Time Low, My Chemical Romance, or Panic! at the Disco, and the entire casts of Doctor Who and Supernatural.
33: What political issue stirred you the most?
Hmm.. I'd say abortion.
34: Who did you miss?
I don't really know... most of the people I need in my life are here. (:
35: Tell us a valuable life lesson you learned in 2012.
I think I answered this already.
36: Quote a song lyric that sums up your year.
Hmm... I'll say this:
"Hold on just another day or two. I can see the clouds are moving faster now, and the sun is breaking through. If you can hold on to the One that's holding you, there is nothing that can stop this crazy love from breaking through." -Hold On by Tobymac.
